I love living in the Northwest but this weather is really starting to get to me. I like being outside as much as the next guy but it’s always raining or icing or something terrible up here no matter what time of year it is. I do like being able to ride a bike to work and that so many restaurants have al fresco dining and I’ve gotten a lot more into outdoorsy activities like hiking and mountain bikingand whatnot. But for me it’s less about being outside and more about being DRY which is not a good combination when you live in Oregon! I like my job a lot and it allows me a lot of flexibility. I spend some nights with my clear wire portland catching up on old stuff and some days I just take off because I can – that’s the kind of office I have…you don’t have to be in your cube if you’re getting your work done, and that’s nice. I love being here but I’m going to have to talk to Mother Nature.
