On Saturday I went to Polaris Mall to have some “Me” time. As I was walking on the second floor towards the food court, I saw this line and line of people below me. Immediately I thought there was a celebrity in town. Turns out it was the grand opening of Apple Store. There were so many people they had to put two cops guarding the entrance of the store. It was so crazy! Apple store is located at the lower level near Von Maur, and the line went as far as the front of T-mobile store (almost went outside of the mall to the outdoor lifestyle section). They didn’t have any special promotional discount or anything like that. Up until now I still don’t understand why these people were willing to stand in line just to check out some stuffs, which will still be available next day anyhow.
O well…. I guess I’m not “nerdy”? :)
