Happy Memorial Day long weekend!!! I’m so looking forward this long weekend. As usual, I’m posting couple free events that are happening this weekend:
4th Friday Uptown Westerville Festival: Back to Nature May 28, Fri 6 - 9 p.m
Summer is all about enjoying outdoor activities. Every 4th Friday of the month there will be festivals at Uptown Westerville, and the theme for this week is Nature. Asian Festival May 29 - 30, 2010, Sat 10 a.m - 9 p.m Sun 11 a.m - 7 p.m
This by far is my favorite cultural festival in town. It’s not mainly because I’m an Asian myself, but it’s the only cultural festival with a free admission, free parking and free shuttle service. Come and learn about Asian culture, enjoy live performances, arts and crafts, and delicious Asian Cuisine. http://www.asian-festival.org.
Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony at Powell Parks and Recreation, May 31 10 a.m - 12:30 p.m.
Come to downtown Powell and pay homage to our veterans at the 2010 Powell Memorial Day parade. http://www.cityofpowell.us/event-memorial-day-parade.php.
