As I had mentioned in my previous post, my husband and I decided to throw a birthday party for our son. For his birthday we decided to have Thomas the Train as our theme since he’s so crazy about it. His birthday was on Tuesday, so we decided to bring cupcakes to the daycare during afternoon snack time. We ordered both cupcakes and birthday cake from Fonny’s Cakes, a Columbus based company that specializes in custom order fondant birthday cakes. Her cake is so moist and tasty, not mentioning her artistic design and attention to detail. For the cupcakes we had about 13 2D cupcakes and 3 3D cupcakes with Thomas, James and Percy on the top. It was more than enough to feed two teachers, 12 kids and us. The kids loved it, the teachers were amazed, and my son kept saying that he ate Percy.
We had the birthday cake at the Rainbow Recreation Outlet on his birthday party that weekend. For the birthday cake we had, again, Thomas, James and Percy on the train track and the roundhouse right behind them. My son just loves it!
