I had the opportunity to try New Chopstick, a small Chinese restaurant located in a strip mall of Martin and Sawmill road.  Thanks to my Chinese friend who recommended me, this place is a must go for those of you who love an authentic Chinese food.  The place is pretty small and clean, just like a regular Chinese take out.  Pricing is around $8 - $10. 

I went there with my son and we ordered Spicy Salt Chicken from the Chinese menu, which is a deep fried battered chicken cutlet, cooked in salt and jalapeno.  I was reluctant on ordering it for my son due to the spiciness, so I ordered a side fried rice for him.  Turns out the chicken is not spicy at all as long as you don’t eat the jalapeno.  The chicken is crispy and tender, not too salty, not too spicy, everything is just perfect.  Hmmmm….. as my son said, “Yummy in the Tummy”.  I’m drooling as I’m writing this post.  For $8.95 the portion is big enough for two adults.  This must be the restaurant’s specialty since I noticed everybody else also ordered the same thing.  My son loves it and the two of us almost cleaned up the whole plate.  My friend also recommend the Salty Fish Chicken with Eggplant, but I haven’t tried it yet.  I will definitely post a review once I do so, but I must warn you that the later menu is geared toward Asian.  If you can’t stand fishy smell, you probably need to avoid it.  I can’t wait to come back again with my husband so we can try different menus.  Remember if you want to order one of a kind Chinese food, you have to ask for the Chinese menu.
