We were invited to a Thanksgiving dinner party at a friend’s house. I wanted to wear something in black to represent a dinner party and threw in a little flair to casualize it a little bit. So I was going through my closet and found this black dress that I bought when I went back to Indonesia early this year. I haven’t worn this dress and even the tag was still hanging. I bought this dress on sale and basically it’s a very simple loose sheered dress with a really tight black dress underneath. It was so simple I don’t know why I even bought it. So I found a belt that actually belonged to a different dress, wore it up high. I put on a crazy legging and a pair of knee high black boots. My fashion philosophy is always balancing something simple (the dress) with something that makes statement (the legging). This whole look would be so much better with a bunch of metallic bangles, but I don’t own one. O well, I still love the whole outlook after I mix and match it with stuffs I already own.
