Last weekend I went to my favorite second hand store in Grandview and found my hidden treasures. I don’t think it was the best deal ever, but it was a pretty good one. I found a white cashmere turtleneck sweater for $15 and an orange short sleeves pullover sweater for only $12.50, both are from Banana Republic. It’s hard for me to find out how much exactly these two pieces retail because most of the stuffs in a second hand stores are at least 2 years old, so it’s off of the website. I checked Banana Republic website and a similar cashmere sweater costs $175, and a pullover sweater priced around $60 - $90. Regardless, considering the majority of Banana Republic clothes are above $50 I think I got a pretty good steal, eh? The Rain Boot is by Marc Jacob, and I got it from DSW for only $40, original price $200 and they had it on sale for 80% off. My principle in buying a good branded clothes is either get it on sale for at least 50% off or buying a classic style simply because you can wear it for years and it will never go out of style. If I feel like buying something that’s currently in fashion, I would buy it new from H&M or Charlotte Russe. Anyway, this is my complete look for the weekend.
White Cashmere sweater by Banana Republic $15
Orange pullover sweater by Banana Republic $12.50
Skinny Jeans by Old Navy $29.50
Rain Boots by Marc Jacobs $40
Necklace by Aria $11
Handbag (received it as a gift)

Looking great on a tight budget is really hard. I always pick through their great collection of ties. They look sharp and don’t hurt my wallet.
