Christmas Wish list

October 21st, 2009

Christmas is still two months away and I’ve already been thinking about Christmas presents for my son. This time would be a little different because he will be almost three, meaning he will be able to enjoy his gifts even more. We’ll still play it down low, we’re not going to go overboard just like last year. So, my two main wish list for my son are:

Battery Powered Thomas

Battery Powered Thomas Wooden Railroad

I’ve been checking eBay everyday and see if I could get a better deal.  I really want to buy all Thomas’ main characters at least Percy, James and Gordon.  But each battery powered engine costs at least $19.99, so it would be a little too much for our budget.

My next wish list would be:

Vtech laptop

Vtech laptop

This one shouldn’t be a problem since it’s only $29.99 and it’s a more educating than the choo choo train. As far as for me, I don’t know what I want for Christmas yet. I think seeing my son’s ear to ear happy face is the best gift ever….

I love the Vtech laptop, and have that on the list for my son this year.

As for the battery Powered Thomas, I saw your earlier post where you and your hubby were debating this. My son will be 2 in a few short weeks, and he has the regular Wooden Railway trains which he absolutely loves. I don’t know that the battery powered trains will make him lazy, I doubt they will. I just don’t know that this feature is a necessary one.

The Learning Curves Shop http://shop.learningcurve.com/category/Great+Deals/p-1?navState=0&locale=en_US is always having great sales on the wooden trains. I counted 10 that were under $10. So, this might be a way where you can get him some great, affordable trains.

Good ideas! I’m starting to think of wish-list items too, and spending way too much money already in my head :)

    @ Stephanie,
Thanks for suggestion. I will definitely check out the website. Sometimes it’s hard to see who wants more, the mom or the child? :)

    @ Sarah,
I know, I’m getting nervous just by thinking about it.
