Last night my husband and I had just a tiny argument. He was complaining because I made beer turkey sausage with mashed potato for dinner. He’s so adamant about not eating processed food (the sausage) and I got upset because I need processed food from time to time because it’s convenient. I do realize that processed food can cause cancer, but it’s not like I make sausage everyday. Then he said, “Don’t you care about your health? If you don’t, then I don’t want to concern about my health either because I don’t want to outlive you.” Then I asked, “Why?”. He said, “Because I don’t think I can survive without you.” My anger was washed away by his statement. Isn’t that sweet?
Anyway, I assured him that I made this because I like sausage and again, it’s convenient. I do try to make a healthy meal and I think it’s important to splurge your appetite a little bit as long as you don’t go overboard. I always believe that if you’re too strict with your diet, then it won’t last long.
So back to the original topic, sometimes the true feeling of your love one comes out during an argument, and that feeling is love.
