One of my favorite recipe is Steamed Fish. It’s so healthy and both adults and children can enjoy this meal. I found so many people here in America dislike fish for whatever reason. Fish is such a healthy meal that provides both protein and Omega3 (for brain development).
Below is the recipe for steamed fish that a friend of mine gave me. I don’t typically use measurement when cooking, so I’ll do my best writing the ingredient. It takes about 5 minutes to prepare and it’s delicious. Oh, did I say it’s healthy too?
Ingredient:
- 3 pieces of frozen white fish (tilapia, flounder, etc)
- 1 tbs ground ginger
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 green onion
- 2 tbs soy sauce
- 1 tbs sesame oil
- 1 tbs vegetable oil
Method:
- Boil water about 2/3 of 12″ frying pan
- Put fish in the boiling water, reduce heat and cook for about 5 minutes until the fish is easy to flake
- Remove from heat. Put the fish in a hot pot or Pyrex
- Spread the remaining 1/2 tbs of ginger all over the fish
- Add 2 tbs soy sauce
- Meanwhile heat 1 tbs of vegetable oil, add to the fish
- Add 1 tbs of sesame oil
- Don’t stir the fish because you will break it, instead gently shake the hot pot/pyrex so the sauce is spread out evenly onto the fish
- Garnish with chopped green onion
- Enjoy
