The truth finally comes out ….. The Gosselin ends their marriage! The rumor has spread out for weeks that Jon was having an affair with the third grade teacher. Today we learned that Kate is also having an affair with her bodyguard.
Honestly I’m not really surprised that they finally split up for various reasons. The ongoing rumor about Jon and mistress and the way Kate responded to the rumor during Today’s show just didn’t add up. If the rumor was false then Kate should’ve been outraged and defended Jon. In fact, all she said was “I hesitant to believe Jon’s infidelity, we’re dealing the issue privately”. The constant bickering and lack of passion between the two even confirm the allegation in my opinion. There are also rumors that Kate cut out the family from all their close friends and family, even her mom, which is why we don’t see Aunt Jodi and Beth any longer (visit http://gosselinswithoutpity.blogspot.com/)
As I stated in my previous post, I love the show because we all could relate to them despite the number of kids they have. The Gosselin was just a normal middle class family who’s trying to survive raising eight kids. They were a true inspiration to any family. They save money by clipping coupons, do family trip together, arts and crafts, play together, sing Christmas carols, these are the things that normal family do. Now their life has changed. They live in a mansion, had Steve guy (I forgot his last name) came to the house to put up the solar panel (see go green episode), cooked with Emeril Lagasse, and I just saw a preview that they went to Charmed City Cake for Kate’s birthday last night. These are not normal…. we don’t do these things.
Is it time to say good bye to the Gosselins? I think so. Well, let me take it back. If TLC shows us how bickering the two actually are, how they are dealing with the current situation, the audience might stick around. Don’t show us all these fancy dinner, visit from Emeril Lagasse, and all those craps! TLC might need to start putting the octuplet mom on the show for all I care.
What we learn from the Gosselin’s experience is that money and fame come at a very expensive price. You gain all the freebies, money and fame… but you’re losing your family and friends who truly love you.

Wow….for sure, I am going to miss that show if they are not together anymore. It was a great show.

I know… isn’t it sad? I learned so much from that show. I guess reality show isn’t always “real”.

It’s sad for the children! This is what fame and money do to some people. These poor children will be the results of the damage they have caused. Shame on both Kate and Jon!!
And its not that they took them out only for the ratings…these children learn from the trips they take them on. Why not? They have the opportunity and financial means…I say why not!! My son is 21 and I take him (paid for) on trips he won’t be able to afford in this economy, unless he has that fortunate opportunity like these people.
Nuff said!

I agree! The thing that struck me the most during the interview was Kate kept referring everything she does is for the children. Well you kinda have to work on your marriage too. Divorce causes the most painful experience especially for the children.
