As I mentioned on earlier posts, checking out craiglist is my daily to do list. Believe it or not, I have found some pretty good deals from craiglist. This morning was no different. While my son was eating his breakfast, I checked on craiglist to see if my wish list items are available. Turns out somebody is selling a toy storage with 12 bins in primary colors that I had always wanted, and it was for sale for $20. One of the 12 bins was missing, but it’s still in a good condition. I immedately called the number and the guy told me to come right away. He lives not far away from my place. After I wrote down his address and direction, I got my son and myself ready, made coffee for myself, prepared the diaper bag, and headed out. No time for breakfast for myself because I’m also meeting a friend around the area (read next post) for kids event.
The toy bin looks great. After we got home from the event, I immediately put my son to bed for his nap and cleaned it up. I put away his baby toys in the storage and started organizing toys that he currently plays. Most of the toys I bought are the ones that promote creativity such as playdough, blocks, and puzzles. He does have a few cars, but for the most part he really enjoys books. Regardless, the playroom looks really neat and organize… and I’m a happy mama!!
